Insects are a cheap and plentiful source of protein eaten in numerous nations around the world. I have no issues with it and would chow down on some toasted grasshoppers if they were more commonly available here.

No problem with anybody CHOOSING to eat bugs every day.
The problem is that "they" want to take away that choice and move towards forcing you to eat bugs every day, for the planet.

(2036 cows are outlawed and mcdonalds only serves mealworm bigmacs and soyfries.)

I wouldn't pay to see a movie. This one I would not watch for free.

As I understand it, this movie portends that as a youth the subject was bullied/abused and that is why he became what he did.

Seems like an attempt at justification to me, but like I said this is a totally uninformed opinion, so me if you like.

Hypocrisy is the hallmark of liberalism. I am sure it doesn't even occur to NY leadership that armed citizens are a great deterrent/response to violence, even while they put armed citizens in theaters to deter violence.

Well. My only disagreement is that hypocrisy is a hallmark of humans. It's some hard wiring to override. But. I'll say this. People have blind spots especially the more idealistic they are. It's been my experience that the most hypocritical people seem to be those who are more extreme ideologues. Anti-gun zealots certainly fit that.

Actually, it seems like an attempt to get more money from a populace that can't seem to get enough of these superhero movies. (I have no idea why...)
