While I am familiar with the genre of jokes, this appears to be relatively well off whitey....which is where the really goofy names are coming from these days.

Yes, it used to be that anyone I encountered with a really goofy name was almost certainly from a certain commune in southern Indiana, now they are just as likely to be from anywhere.

Nothing says "Merry Christmas" like a concrete Christmas tree. But would it have killed them to at least paint some ornaments on those things? Maybe a few strands of lights or tinsel?
