I'm certainly not hitching my wagon to his crazy train, he's a bit too eccentric for me.

But here we have a black man, raised in a broken home, works his way into a billionaire pop star, fashion guru and cultural icon.

The Left cheers him.

He dares think different politically and meets the President... (whether it's genuine or not doesn't matter, but I'm thinking it is at this point)

I knew nothing of this till I heard it last night on NPR's ATC. There was no snark or disdain, just a general sense of "huh". I have the same sentiments.
