I don't even care anymore. If you don't have enough foresight to buy when it's cheap and available, just know you're going to be dealing with panic prices and availability at some point.

Side note, remember the 9mm craze? It's awful cheap right now....
I'm not fazed by this craze. I've had my time behind the trigger while I was in so I can wait till prices come down, I get lucky at wally world with the zqi or start reloading it.

I still think America has lost its mind - watched 2 online auctions last night and 1 lot of 1000 PMC green tip lap went for $1025 plus $20 shipping and another lot for 2000 LC xm855 went for $2325 free shipping - today its staying around 50¢ to 75¢ a round - the sheeple were herdn thick last night - even at 50¢ a round xm855 just isnt worth it - at the going rate that ammo should be able to take out a dinasour

The ATF can't provide actual data that justifies banning this ammunition in which it provides any increased current risk to LE than it does to a dinosaur.

Friend of mine in the 90's was a Doctor.
Chinese and East German Steelcore were banned and 7.62 was scarce.
So my friend bought ten cases of Russian hollow point 1440 rd cases for $235 a case.
    $2350 for 14,400 rds.
i helped him drag it out of the INDY 1500 show.

    Whos laughing now !

There was plenty of PMC X TAC M855 for $350 per k when I bought mine 6 months ago. Some bought Starbucks, some bought ammo.

Looks like my Ar-15 is going to have to keep the safe queens company for a bit. While I do have a nice inventory, I don't have enough to just go out for the sake of shooting, especially if it's going to cost 3-4 times as much to replace them.

Retail merchants must just love Obama and his disciples when they do these things. At the mere mention of something being banned the shelves empty and the money just comes pouring in. LGS's or any store that sells guns and ammo can't deny that there's nothing better to boost business than a good ol' threat to ban something. Just in time for flea market season too. ;)

I'm not noticing any major shortages around me. In fact Cabelas has a big spring sale including 300rds of PMC .223 for $0.28/round. Everything was fully stocked when I picked up my 300. They had tons of M193 and even had a little M855 still.

There are no shortages when people aren't being idiots...

I heard that the government is going to ban all rubber buckshot due to the rubber being hazardous to children if ingested. I strongly urge you to stop hoarding powder, primers, .22, and .223 so that you can concentrate solely on hording rubber buckshot before this travesty comes to pass.

I read it on the Internet AND heard it in a gun store right after the conversation about the lifetime LTCH going away on June 1st.
You need to stay out of Gander Mountain before your nerves make you break out with hives.

The panic is alive and well. My local Wally had TONS of ZQI 5.56 with SS109 projectiles. As I looked at the case, a gentleman came up and bought ten boxes. The lady working the sporting goods said someone had bought 30 boxes earlier in the day. When I asked to buy some ammo, the lady assumed I wanted the rest. I wish I had that kind of money to throw at ammo :spend::spend:
