Looks like this new “woke” Taliban is a little different from the old Taliban

the whole world is paying attention right now, it's just for appearances in the short term. They want international recognition as a legit government

This would be a good time to strike the taliban. They are no longer in the mountains. Just saying we could really lay it on them now that they are out where we can get them.

Im skeptical. Would probably get a bunch of civilians killed which is the Taliban's best recruiting aid

C5 galaxy just took off out of Japan headed east. I suspect they are gonna land that one and maybe 1-2 more it at Kabul to finish the evacuation. If you can’t fit 800 people on a c17 I bet you can fit 2k and that Apache and a couple of mraps on a C5.

If they headed east from Japan, they're taking the long way... Must be a discount airline.

Plan was for all non combatant US citizens to be Cat I for evacuation.

Cat II armed US State dept, Contractors and spooks.

My source stated it’s a sh$#show people are not all accounted for. AMC didn’t have airlift staged or the support dudes in place. Kuwait is not up and running yet. They are trying to use the surge area at Arfijan.
