...but what do you expect? Can't dwell too much on the terrorist; it screws with the narrative many people want to advance.

The countdown to "lone crazy guy without an agenda" or "what have we done to anger this man" commentaries.

So we complain that the shooter gets too much publicity and the victims none. So it is reversed now and we complain that the shooter is not getting enough publicity. Without a note, his motives are speculation. While we can safely assume that his motives are connected to his conversion to Islam, anything more than that is pure fiction without more information.
