You know that's not true. It just shows the first person who bought it from the gun store, not who currently owns it.

Then how will the information help LE trace the most recent owner (the only info germane to a crime) - unless it enables following the chain from first owner to present owner or else why bother

as to the "51 min bleed out", do we have a timestamp on the picture from the camera? (and know with utmost certainty it was set right?) How do we know they didnt get evidence techs in there 2 hours later? That makes more sense to me.

But I admit that is plausible. That is one of those "it could go either way"

I have yet to see any muzzle flash footage. Perhaps I missed it but all the footage I have seen that clearly showed the side of the building showed no muzzle flashes. I wonder if the guy was dead before "he" killed all those people?

Did you ever shoot video of muzzle flashes?
    It doesn't work so well.
    Movies use special effects.

THis is almost as good as thermite in the towers. Wow.

You do realize these hotels have some of the most sophisticated CCTV systems in the world, right? I MIGHT lend some credence to this if it happened outside vegas at a non-casino hotel. But not at a casino.

Now if all of the video for the duration magically disappears I might join you. But not now.

Why are they taking their time releasing the hotel cam footage... Or what if he carried out the shooting but only after being forced with threats to his family... Girlfriend being held by Islamic extremists in the Phils as a hostage they have a terrorist problem.... I'm keeping my tinfoil hat on

Hotel security guard reportedly got shot at 10:23, although you are correct it does appear that he may have offed himself well before the breach.

Reported that he had been shot at 10:23...unclear when he was shot, at least that's the way I heard it.

One of the things I found very interesting, was the fact that LVPD essentially "deputized" hotel security and ran with them as part of their active shooter team. Solid swinging brass ones on the hotel security.

    From the conspiracy files.

LVMPD LEAKED INTEL- Stephen Pollack Was An FBI Agent Supplying Arms To ISIS INSIDE THE USA!!!

    [link to twitter.com (secure)]

The LVMPD knows the motive behind the attack, but the FBI will not allow us to release the motive because it implicates the FBI in illegal arms deals and supplying arms to ISIS terrorists within U.S. borders.

Stephen Paddock was an undercover FBI agent who participated in multiple illegal arms deals in the Las Vegas area in a gun running entrapment scheme similar to Fast and Furious. Paddock thought he was engaging in another routine arms transfer, but ISIS had learned about the entrapment scheme and Paddock's true identity. They killed him and carried out the massacre, and then fled the scene.

Everything is being kept under extreme wraps because 1) armed ISIS terrorists are still at large and 2) this is very embarrassing to the FBI and they don't want their scheme to become public knowledge.

I will be posting further information throughout the day, people within LVMP are disgusted and are pushing for this information to be released to the public.

So what if we had a multipart solution -
    1) regulate all attachments that increase rate of fire to be like high rate of fire original equipment. Bump stocks and cranks would then be regulated like machine guns. This would address one of the factors in the Vegas shooting.
    2) pass nationwide reciprocity to address shootings like the congressional shooting.

I think it will take specific changes to address specific situations. Not generalizations

anyone got got any other ideas?

Anti gunners don't work that way.
Compromise means you give them some now, then some later..... etc.

You'd be better off drawing a line in the sand.
"Compromise" is what got us thousands of gun laws.

I'm sure the Isis perpetrators are hiding out with the not-dead Sandy Hook kids, the guys who set the charges at the WTC, Jack Ruby's handler and Walt Disney's head.

OK, if we are going to just throw stuff out there, what if he was informed that his girlfriend was kidnapoed. He could have been instructed to wire $100,000 to a Philipine account (which it is reorted that he DID do). Then he was instruceted to go on the killing soree or his girlfriend would be killed. Offing himself could have been part of the ransom demand too, OR he could have done it simply because he could not live with what he had done.

Makes about as much sense as anything.....except the theory that a lone, depressed and angry man was evil, and such.

I'm wondering if, in the absence of any clear motive and so, the absence of any political stance and/or affiliation to vilify, if there will be more focus on the weapon(s) used by the shooter.
Regardless of the absence OR the existence of a motive or political stance, the focus WILL be on the guns! Exactly where the focus shouldn't be!

The gf was also an Fbi operative..

    [link to www.newsweek.com]

"Marilou Danley, the live-in girlfriend of Las Vegas gunman Stephen Paddock, and now a "person of interest" in the shooting investigation, is a Philippines native who has used two Social Security numbers during her two-plus decades in the United States, and was married to two men at the same time, public records show."

Hundreds of deposition and dozens of trials tell me that people think they saw or heard a lot of things, really, truly, believe it.

...and beyond that, the girl being interviewed, she's not the one at issue. I say this is a big nothing.
Like hotel lobbies and the general area smelling of gun smoke?
