1911 suggestion

I'll for sure be here for more then just the classifieds. So far I've enjoyed the conversation and learned from others. I have a question maybe someone can answer.

All this chatter forced me out to the 3 LGS I hang out at. They had some OK deals but nothing in Stainless. Churchmouse wants a Stainless 1911 this time.....

I have 2 sons. Thanks for sharing your insight. I have 1 1911 that was made in 1917 and issued to the US Army. It has been handed down and although I have shot it, it doesn't really come out much. Haven't shot it in years

LGS...Local Gun Shops

I have a 1911 My uncle carried in Korea and the Nam. It is the gun (pistol) I learned to shoot with. It gets shot but lives safely in the deposit box. I never want anything to happen to that gun.

Always remember....1 is too many and 8 is not enough.

I have trimmed it down from 12 to a more livable number. I apparently can not live with that number......

That's the way my old Colt is. Comes out to be wiped down and oiled or once in awhile my sons will want to hold it.

A friend at work showed me this site. I wanted to PM gregkl about purchasing the one he had for sale. After a registered I found out you had to have 50 posts before you can use the classifieds. By then it sounds like it was to late any how. I've made up my mind and will be the owner of a RO. Got a bad itch and it WILL be scratched.

Sorry about that! Guess I sold it too cheap. lol. I had several offers on it.
