It seems to bode well for Zimmerman. Although her history is not to use a grand jury, to not do so would mean that, if she intends to prosecute, she believes she has the evidence to prevail at trial. That is unlikely in this case. To charge Zimmerman now would be blatant pandering to the blacks and the MSM. Zimmerman's rights should trump all of that.

Bet they'd regret blocking the police department if one of their family members were robbed, raped, or murdered while they were impeding police from doing their jobs over one perceived injustice. What gets me is under normal circumstances, interfering with an entire departments ability to do their job would get you pepper sprayed, tazed, arrested, something! But the publicity of this case has caused political correctness to be more important than truth or justice.

If a grand jury comes back no true bill, then why on Earth would she risk her neck and charge him solo on the authority of her office? That's why prosecutors love to use grand juries - to save their careers. "Well, the jury said there's not enough evidence." To go against the lack of indictment after convening a grand jury and receiving a no true bill would be shocking. And potentially career-ending.

On a tangential note, grand juries are really where the power of an informed citizenry comes into play. Petit juries are pretty much after-process; the defendant's already been dragged through the 'justice' system. A grand jury can spare a would-be defendant all of that nonsense, particularly when the State has nothing to go on except misinformed public malice.

If they arrest Zimmerman for anything even remotely relating to this, particularly given how much we now know his story lines up with reality, it will be very telling. Very informative indeed.
