Passive,
They are referring to an old, unenforced ordinance in Speedway which says CC is not allowed, only OC. This is old enough that it escaped preemption, but no one has ever heard of it being enforced. Mostly because they wouldn't know if you are CCing, now would they? But, technically...
This BS is the way the law is written in PA, maybe he learned their laws. There, handguns must be transferred at a FFL or at the county sheriff's office. WTH?
Anyone know anything about PA laws? I am moving to Pittsburgh. I've read some of the rules but haven't heard it all yet, so I am open to what someone may know, or experiences they've had there. I found the PA version of INGO and it seems to be pretty good.
Well played kingnereli,
I must, in embarrassment, admit that I've never seen the source. I've seen this statement repeated many times, here and other forums, so I took it as fact. It is of course entirely possible that this isn't true, so I guess now the hunt begins. :D
Malls are a location where it is prudent to CC. Malls are private property and they almost all have a "no guns" rule. Some malls will have a small sign stating the rules --normally in the vestibule, others won't state their anti-gun stance but will inform you of such when their security guards...
Well I am sure you can imagine that my brother was exceptionally grateful that the fine pachyderm saved him from imminent.... pain. As Rhino pointed out, there is no way of knowing whether or not this ground hog was just a scout for the whole army, waiting to report on our lack of defenses...
I do not know how to help you reach the membership committee, but I know a few members and will see what I can do. I do want to point out that your daughters do not need to be members to shoot in competitions. Matches are open to the public, membership is only necessary if you want open range...
That is an oxymoron.
If you want an honest review of a home by someone who knows what they are talking about, don't use a home inspector. It's like asking a 13 year old boy about a woman's anatomy. They may have some vague clue about what they are doing, but not much more.
Not trying to be a...
This could be solved with a closed ended question rather than an open ended question. "List the ages names and occupations of all members of your household" is a lot different than "Are any of the members of your household attorneys or judges?" I am with Scutter, their question does not appear...
Chef, sorry I didn't reply. Somehow I missed the activity in this thread. To answer your question, no it will not function as a car GPS, as it does not have road maps on it.
Thanks to all, it has been SOLD.
The state is in the process of doing a background check and you are NOT yet approved. Do NOT carry until you receive the permit.
It is possible you are remembering an exception to the rule, which does not apply in your case. The exception was this: If you already had a permit, and 4 years...
While I didn't personally witness it, a good friend told me he got them to come down on a used Browning buckmark. He didn't say how much they we willing to decrease, and it was a used gun, not new.
YMMV.
Apologies Lucas. I missed that somewhere and it was my mistake. I misunderstood and thought you were saying something else.
I am with the others who said that unless the person identified themselves as LEO, you weren't obligated to provide any info. Having said that, from the security...
Didn't your mother teach you two wrongs don't make a right? :D If the tow truck is blocking your path, politely go ask the guy if he can move. The tow truck inconveniencing you is not a license to possibly destroy property.
This.
No offense, but I hope your wife learned enough from this incident not to "shoo" off a coyote in the future. I'd rather the yote have a nice meal of kittens than take a bite out of anyone's wife or kids.
Good luck.
