    That is an oxymoron.

    If you want an honest review of a home by someone who knows what they are talking about, don't use a home inspector. It's like asking a 13 year old boy about a woman's anatomy. They may have some vague clue about what they are doing, but not much more.

    Not trying to be a negative nancy, but you should find someone who actually works in the building trades. Experience has shown that often home inspectors know regulations but that's it.
