      AR barrel twist

      Yes, it will still be fine with the lighter grain bullets at 100yds or less. Hornady 55gr SP and FMJ both shoot sub moa in my 1:7 16" AR. For 400+ yards you'll want a 18" bbl, just saying.

      First lower build recommendations?

      I am not a fan of the ar gold but this may have been attributed to a defect in the unit I received. The pull weight was not consistent and break was not crisp. In any case, I returned it in exchange for a geiselle and couldn't be happier. +1 on the RRA kit.

      +1 on both the above. I have not had any problem with reloads in my KKM or StormLake 40 to 9mm conversion bbls.

      There is absolutely no reason for him to deny a local pickup. Armslist is meant to local deals. However, I have shipped items to buyers in other states. It's just a shame that scammers have ruined this for the majority of the good/honest people out there.

      1:7 twist like them heavy bullets. But yes, load development for your gun if you reload. 1:9 shoots 55gr and less. It really boils down to the distance you want to shoot. Heavier bullets will hold up better the farther out you go.
