I'll be carrying my FS m&p9 and I have the tactical advantage of being in decent shape and I have a 30" waist. so I don't have any sort of extra cushioning on my body. I like the idea of a hybrid with the leather backing cause it just sounds like it would be more comfortable. but at the same...
So I'm at wits end trying to figure out what kind of holster to order. I've probably spent the past 2 weeks scouring the ends of the internet to find the best holster for my needs. I was planning on purchasing a OWB kydex holster but I started thinking about it and where I would be carrying I...
great show I thought. Lots of selection. got some .22 and some pistol primers. favorite part of the show was some guy trying to sell a GLOCK 42 for 749.99. I asked if he had some wiggle room in his price and he said it was very firm so i shot him a smile and walked away
All I have to say is WOW!!! I went here today since I was in town visiting my parents and haven't gotten to take my m&p out much since I've bought it. walked in and was greeted by one of the employee's asking if I was there to shot cause I was carrying my gun case. Had to fill out the standard...
My grandfather bought me a .22 chipmunk for my 5th bday. Said that I'm old enough to understand how they work and need to know because the best safety was my brain. I had always been around guns but never could touch them just look. then I learned on that .22 the four rules and proper firearm...
Another advamtage of owning a rust bucket. No one would want to steal it but if they tried I can tale the keys out while it's running which I always do so they won't get very far without being able to turn it over when they shut it off haha
So just a little update on this I contacted Barnes and got a reply the next day about the problem and how they wanted to fix it. So I sent them my address and received a package today with 6 new rounds of the TAC-XPD, a 2oz bottle of there cr-10 bore cleaner and 5 Barnes stickers. I'm extremely...
As stated above the LGS was out of everything but these. And I'd rather not shoot a round of fmj thru someone and into my neighbors house. So I just went ahead and bought them.
I found this quite ridiculous too. It wasn't my first choice but the only thing in stock. Kind of worries me about the other rounds as this is the only ammunition I have right now for home defense. I'm hoping to pick up something different this weekend. Wish I had my reloading equipment but that...
Thanks everyone for the reply. I'm new to this whole center fire thing lol. I'll be emailing the pic to Barnes and see maybe if I can get anything free out of it. If not how hard would it be for me to get it out and flip it around? I'm guess I would need reloading equipment?
So I bought a box of 9mm Barnes TAC-xpd for my new m&p. I was inspecting them when I got home and found a round with this weird thing where the primer should be. Obviously its not fired and I'm just disappointed that o spent $28 on 20 rounds and one of them is no good.
I'm purchasing one tomorrow from midwest gun exchange for $505 out the door. I told them I could get it cheaper online and if there was any wiggle room in the price he said they could do 469 on it. I'd rather buy in person then online guess I'm just old school like that.
My 21st is in less then 2 weeks!!! Already got my money saved up for my M&P9. I've applied for my ltch about 2 weeks ago but I know I'm in the bad boy pile because of a underage drinking ticket. Gives me time to get some training and some range time it!!!
I work 5 minutes down the road and I used to always stop there after work when I lived in goshen. Makes me wish I had my LTCH and gun seeing as I came home tonight and if I would have gotten off early I probably would have been inside when this happened
I always triple check every gun thats handed to me. Even if I watch someone clear it. Visual inspection and racking the slide a few times. Its a good habit to have. I always cringe when I see people pick up guns and not even check and start pointing it and pulling the trigger. You never know...
Thanks for all the input guys. Much appreciated. Once I purchase my pistol I am planning on eventually taking the 3 day course at Kodiak BEFORE I start carrying. The last thing I want is to get my fiancee or I injured or killed just because I feel like I can eliminate a threat with my gun...
