      EAA Owners

I have a 357 windicator that I have enjoyed shooting, you can't beat the price but it is a heavy gun. I had a problem with the cylinder release at first but nothing some oil did not fix.

      Revolver education

I have a EAA 357 with a short barrel, for a very cheap revolver not a bad gun. I have fired 150 round with no problems. The big names are great firearms but for a fun gun the price is right.

Do you carry a Semi Auto or Wheel Gun?

I carry a wheel gun, had a PM45 that only held one more so not much difference. If I need more than 6 shots I'm in trouble anyway.

      Compact 40 or 45 ???

I did some shopping today and did some reading on here, may look real hard at the sig p250 in the two gun set. The .40 and .45 should be out soon. Looks like a good deal to me, I was told you can put the trigger in 19 different frames. I looked at the px4 and the walther PPS, both nice guns.

Thanks for the info, I need to do some shopping. I had a XD sub-compact 40 And really liked it, I have also had a Glock, the handle was a little big for my comfort. I will check out the recommendations. Thanks again

      Compact 40 or 45 ???

I want to buy a new very concealable 40 or 45 I had a Kahr PM45 that I sold and now kicking myself. What is your thoughts on a good replacement? I was looking at a Walther PPS 40 but not sure. I would like a gun with the rail so the compact glock is out.

      1500 Admission Price?

In the past if you use a card you may have to pay a service fee, seems goofy but I guess like anything cash is king.

      OVER CROWDED 1500 SHOW

I have been to quite a few 1500 shows, never had to park so far away and was amazed by the line around the building at 12:00 I did not go in.

Remember to wear your eye protection!

maybe we can get Myth Busters or Top Shot to try and recreate the double ricochet shot under controlled circumstance

Remember to wear your eye protection!

I was hit by my own .40 in a indoor range up north, lucky it was winter and had several layers on. I just chalked it up as a hazard of the range.

      gun show question

For the most part I have had good luck at the 1500 but I don't give my money to someone that does not have much interest in taking it. I agree a "HI" works great.

      Indy 1500

The last time I went was on Friday, If you are just looking fine if you are going to buy go on Saturday afternoon or Sunday. I did not feel like any deals were to be had on Friday. If you go when they open be ready to stand in line outside.

Any idea when gander is having their next sale, cause their prices are horrible.

What is the big dislike for Dick's sporting goods, they are starting to carry tactical firearms and there ammo prices beat gander most of the time. I have bought guns from both and did not see a big difference, is there a reason not to support Dicks sports? I bought a Kahr PM45 at the Indy1500...

keep one in the chamber or not?

i agree with education but kids are always into something, I was taught as a small kid never to get into my moms purse. To this day if I need something from a purse I take it to the owner and ask them to retrieve it.

      Unloading firearms at the 1500

I unload in the car but I do wish they would have snips for the ties, I never remember to bring a pair. I would hate to think of what would happen if a shot was fired inside, nothing good would come out of that. By the way it has happened.
