Anybody seen a Tavor collapsible charging handle?

I've been looking at one of these, how is the accuracy. I've also heard of the trigger being heavy. What's your experiences with it?

AK's are "cheap" or "junk" compared to AR's

Yes they are. Shoot the rifle that makes you happy.

Want a new rifle... need an opinion or two...

270 would be my choice. Far greater range of bullets.

Anyone load their own 12ga home defense or "tactical" shells?

The concern is if my loads, that shoot better, but are more powerful, can be used against me as wonton killing. I have no misceptions that I would still be pulled into court. I just don't want to give the liberals anything more against me.

I've never heard of that, I have a troy alpha rail on mine though. Might be worth having a gunsmith check out though?

How to tell if ammo is reloaded?

Check for light scoring, or small dents on the case. Also the case head might have marks from an extractor. Mixed head stamps are a give away as well.

      Poppin' ammo spam cans

Check with Bradis on the southside of indy. They usually have a ton for just a couple bucks.

Anyone load their own 12ga home defense or "tactical" shells?

The reasoning behind not using reloads for HD/SD is the power behind them. We all know that reloads often shoot better or are perhaps more powerful than factory loads. Even staying within the exact specs in the manual, your loads could be more powerful than the factory rounds. In the hands...

Anyone load their own 12ga home defense or "tactical" shells?
