I ride the slide of my glocks when rechambering a round. A lot of times I have to bump the rear of the slide to engage it fully, but that does the trick. I'm especially worried about setback with the .40 glock.
Only thing I've heard about the Colt 22lr is not to expect Colt quality, because you won't get it. I'd buy a real Colt, or other variety and then the conversion. More versatility. But be warned, those black guns multiply!
I have a S & W MP15 and really like it. Shoots nice and is put together well. Only problem I have had with it was a stuck case... But it was lacquered steel case, so I blame the ammo!
Way smaller than expected and not really worth the drive for me. Seemed like there were more "non-gun" tables as those with guns. If you're close, stop by. But not really worth much of a drive.
Just my :twocents:
I find that if I have too much finger on my glocks I will shoot left. Have you tried getting less finger on the trigger? I have to make sure I get the trigger on the first "pad" of my trigger finger to shoot straight. I have big hands and was wrapping my finger around the trigger too much...
I was there for a short bit this morning, mostly to get a few ammo cans. But I think I know of the table you speak of, and the owner that was a fool to give up a sale for forty cents. I've talked with him a couple of times, and wouldn't give him a cent even for the best deal. Just not my kind...
My SS slab side hates Remington green box as well. Same problem as you. My solution..... Shoot federal red box bulk. I have since bought another MKII but haven't tried it with both rounds yet.
A SF gun will gave SF in the polymer just below the slide. And, correct me if I'm wrong, but there are some mag compatibility issues with OLDER mags..... Or so I've been told.
I have big hands, so I don't look for the SF. I love the size of my 21.
You could take this idea one step further and weld a lug on one side of the hinge and drill a corresponding hole on the other side of the hinge. Depending on the size of the lug you could even have it go into the jamb a bit. Would act like the lugs on the hinge side of safes.
I tried that route but didn't like it. The box gets too heavy and the plastic is too weak to pick up all that weight. I like surplus ammo cans, fat fifties especially. Those are hard to find but the fifty cal cans are still out there.
I went to a gun auction once and looked at an AR they had. A hundred people probably looked at it, and many surely pulled back the charging handle to check the bolt, etc. I did that very thing, and as is habit, I looked down the barrel. And there was an unfired round in the chamber. It was...
Which one will allow for the longest stock? I'm 6'7" and always feel like the stock is too short. I know you gave the length of the unit itself but that doesn't give the length of the stock once installed.
Oh, and it's a good writeup... Thanks.
I have rental property and they have come to me seeking info on the resident as of April whatever. They get steamed at me when all I will tell them is that it was occupied and by how many people. They can't seem to understand that without signed permission from my tenant I cannot give out any...
Thanks for the responses. This is a pretty new model for a G17 that has an on/off swith on a small circular indentation. It can be hard for my big fingers to get to. I'd rather leave it on in case I need it fast. But wanted to make sure the battery would be there if and when.
For those of you with CT lasers on your Guns, do you keep them "on" all the time. I have a personal protection piece stashed in my home that I just put the laser on. Aside from the possibility of having something activate the laser and run down the battery, will leaving the grip "on" drain the...
