      S&W Bodyguard 38 Revolver

I was curious on how the recoil would be. She hasn't really shot much before and that's why I was asking. What loads do you recommend? She also was given a box of 158 grain 38 special from Magtech. Is that a decent round?

      S&W Bodyguard 38 Revolver

My mom received this gun as a gift being as she just received her LTCH. I have read the manual and think it would be a good gun for her, as long as she is willing to go to the range and practice with me. It is the S&W Bodyguard 38 with the laser sight. Does anyone have any experience with...

      Was followed tonight. File complaint?

Just talked with the EMA director about the incident. The best he said he could do would be to talk to his employees about it and ask around, but he said unfortunately, he doesn't think the truth will come out. He said if I had any other information to just call him on his personal phone and...

      Chicago Trip Help?

A buddy of mine and me go up for a few games every year. It doesn't bother me driving the whole time up to the field, but the past few years we have taken the trains. We drive up to the East Chicago South Shore Line Station. Jump on the train and take it to the Van Buren Station. Once you...

      Was followed tonight. File complaint?

To answer a few of the questions. Paperwork was started at the station. She said she would call me when it was completed so she could include the guys name in the report. EMA will be contacted today after I hear from the Sgt. and I get a name. What sucks is there were two others with me...

      Was followed tonight. File complaint?

Just returned from the station. The Sgt. I spoke with is good friends also with the EMA director and is going to call him tomorrow while he is at work about it. She said she will then get the rest of it taken care of and let me know. As of now, the EMA individual was not on duty that we know...

      Was followed tonight. File complaint?

If it wasn't dark out, I would have recorded it with my Iphone. I just didn't think of using it as a voice recorder at the time. So when filing a complaint, do you usually go to the place of employment or do it over the phone? I'm doing it tomorrow and the director works midnights tomorrow...

      Was followed tonight. File complaint?

Story time! My buddy, girlfriend, and I were going back to my buddies house to drop him off after going to the batting cages for some practice. We were about 2 miles from his house when I notice a car similar to a LEO's in the right lane about an 1/8 mile up from me, stopped at the red light...

      My new XDM 9mm

You'll love your XDm 9. I have an XDm 40 that I don't think I will ever sell. By far my favorite gun that I own/have owned.

Where are all the XDM or XD owners at?

Picked up my fullsize xdm 40 in bitone at the last 1500. I love the gun and it is my EDC. Looking to get a new holster for it and then maybe some other things. Need to do more research and see exactly what I want.

Bill Lifting Gun Controls Moves Forward

Just read this in the local paper today and thought some of you might enjoy the read. Legislation to lift local gun controls progressing in Statehouse » Local News » The Herald Bulletin I also like the fact that they called it a permit for the entire article.

      Just left the Indy 1500

That's what I saw when I clicked on the thread, and by the time it opened, it said 1500. I had to double check myself so I'm glad you posted that. By the way, I think it was appropriately titled.

What did you get at the 1500?

New knife from the knife lady, INGO stickers, holster...And oh yeah, my new EDC bi-tone XDm 40. First time going but I had a blast. I just didn't care for the crowd at all and all the people that had rifle barrels hitting me in the chin.

      Just left the Indy 1500

We got there at 9:00 this morning and waited 5-10 minutes to get inside, however, when we were leaving around 12:00 today, the line was at least 300 yards long. My guess is at least an hour or two to get inside, and then you had to deal with all the isles being packed with people like sardines...

1500 AAR !!! Post your deals....

Picked up a new XDm 40 bi-tone out the door for ~$600. Maybe not that great of a price but I was willing to pay. Also stopped at knive lady's booth and got me and a buddy new matching knives and then we both got matching holsters somewhere else.

Bout to buy my first hand gun, need advice

A lot of people THINK that is legal, when it is not. A lot of people also don't understand the IC when it comes to a situation like that, but think they can do that. This is why it is a good thing you join a forum like this. It takes a lot of research and time to understand the IC when it...

Bout to buy my first hand gun, need advice

Per the IC, you are able to take it from place of purchase to your house or place of business. You are also able to take it from your house to a gunsmith for repairs. You are not legally allowed to transfer it from your residence/business anywhere else, unless, like mentioned, you are taking...
