      obviously it wasn't a felony offense...the court order (at least in my case) was, and i'm paraphrasing, to follow all rules/regulations set forth by the probation dept.

      I was on probation and at my initial meeting with the PO I asked her about the gun rule...I explained to her my competitive and recreational shooting history and she agreed to disregard that rule. I'm not saying every PO would be that lenient, but it’s possible.

      I agree their customer service sucks. About 2 weeks ago I went up there with a buddy to pick up his ruger that had to be shipped back to have some work done. Ruger had confirmed that it had been recieved and signed for at gander mtn...but gander mtn insisted it wasn't there. after about 1 1/2...
