Any AppleCare tech that immediately jumps to a reinstall is either a) lazy, b)not following protocol, or c) both. Reinstalling is always the last possible step, unless told otherwise.
Just for kicks, every so often when we go to the range (after we're there a while), I'll slip a SnapCap into a mag and do a drill of clearing the round. Or lay the other mag on the bench and have her swap in the middle of the current mag to simulate a bad mag.
^THIS. My mother asked that I not carry in the house when she was watching kids a few years ago, and I was cool with that because it involved other people's kids, and I definitely did not want to cause that kind of stir. Now that she's not watching any kids (other than mine on occasion, and one...
EDIT: I read it again, and there seems to be an out. It would be legal if the gun was - unloaded, secured in a case, and not readily accessible. Which to your situation and line of thinking, totally defeats the purpose. Don't know why they have to make things so difficult to read and ferret out...
If you're going to do anything, at least do three. The first two options put your co-worker in a very uncomfortable position, even disregarding the fact that it's not legal for him to keep your gun in his car with the parking lot exemption. Chance taking it in, leave it at home and carry a...
I have in my gun safe my father-in-laws bayonet from his service in WWII. He was part of the occupation in Japan in 1945, and never used it, but it's still important to me. Going to eventually find a period correct weapon to mount it on and place it on display in the house.
Mine's already planning on hitting up a range soon to get the rifle dialed in for deer season, and we've got plans to go squirrel hunting on the 23rd, if not sooner. I've put in to take the weekend before Thanksgiving off for deer, so we should be ready to go.

Yeah, but if all you have is an Indiana LTCH, you'll have to remember to stop in West Harrison and unload those suckers and put em in the trunk. Doesn't do any good there.
The Cincy zoo isn't in any worse of an area than the Indy zoo, and is much cheaper. We're going to Cincy so I don't feel...
We know our next door neighbors well, even have a key for their place for emergencies and to watch their dog when they go on vacations. We met them on move in and have talked ever since. One of them isn't in good health and she has us on speed dial should something arise like she's fallen and...
If you do the zoo, the Safari Pass is worth it. $12/per sounds steep, but for everything it gets you into including being able to ride the train around the zoo, I'd do that again in a heartbeat. I think we rode the Carousel three times while we were there. I ran the comparison just now for the...
Apologies in advance if this isn't the right spot. I was going to take my daughter to Crosley yesterday for her first range trip, but they were closed, my fault for not looking first. Does anyone know off hand if Atterbury has age restrictions? I know BGF doesn't allow anyone under 12 for...
