      Why "DO" You carry?!?

Wow... how tragic. Talk about animals. :(

      .22 lr

I would have never guessed the run on .22s?! Just a round that has always been available. I still remember as a kid I'd go hunting prairie dogs with my grand dad and we'd buy a brick for $7.50. Sometimes he'd buy a brick of hollow-points for $10.00. :)

      NRA Hat

I swore off Whole Foods, but one time I did wear an NRA t-shirt in there. That got some attention!

OC, BAD CC, Or Bad Guy..........

That is a little odd. Must be a tough area, as said!

      Gunman Alert at Ball State

I was at an IU campus in downtown Indy last summer and noticed a sign near a bus stop saying weapon free zone with a picture of gun. I felt so safe... Not, actually.

      Sobriety Checkpoints

Good information there, and as well at trolling Broad Ripple. Being a LEO must be an interesting job. I couldn't do it as I think I'd really dislike the general public even more. :D

      Ticket at Fishers WalMart!

I think a warning would have been plenty, but yes, sounds like it's an opportunity to write a ticket (and maybe find something else)? What a shame...

HELP: Banned from restaurant for CCW

Wow... thanks for sharing that! Go back to his first post... He came on here to complain about the restaurant. That was his question... It's flat out nuts to pull out a gun to show it off in public, and especially in a bar. It's not a toy, jewelry or a new iPhone. I remember...

My next rifle will be .17HMR

I have a Winchester Model 94 in .17 HMR. It's an awesome round. I've hunted prairie dogs with it, and wow is it effective over a .22 (which I use to use as a youth). It really does reach out. I wouldn't mind finding a revolver in this round.

      Incident at the homestead

Best story ever. Yeah, I would have told him to pick up his **** with his hands.

HELP: Banned from restaurant for CCW

I find it amazing that the OP actually admits to this? That seriously worries me...

      OMG! The kids!! ...what?

I grew up around guns on my grandparent's ranch. We were always supervised, but still, they were always sitting around too. We knew not to touch without grandpa or my dad being there with us. It was as natural as working on cars in the garage. In fact I have a fond memory of "helping" my...

      Animal Carry

This isn't my wiener dog, but it's a good idea. Although one of mine has a nasty case of gas at the moment, so I'd turn him around in the other direction!

Indiana Gun Permit - Do you have to holster?

      What a cool story... :cowbell:

      So long Sunday alcohol sales!

This has never bothered me. It's not like I'm always running out of booze in the house! If I did, and I had to have a drink, I'd just go out to eat. But that may just be me? :D

Colorado Approves “High Cap” Mag Ban Bill

I grew up in CO, and it use to be a conservative state. But boy have things changed a lot since I was a youth, and just since I left 15 years ago. I was there last summer on vacation and couldn't believe all the dirty hippies all over the state. Slackers! There was a time the local police...
