I was in a muzzleloader shoot (20 shots)... Past half way through the shoot I dropped the ball in without the black powder! I got razzed pretty hard over that one, but I still took third place. :D
I've had NRA stickers on all my cars since the 90s. I've never had any issues, besides some liberal pantywaist co-workers getting worked up over it. :D And I know I've been the topic of discussion at times for it, but big deal.
I don't carry it... but I have a Rugar SP101 in a .32 H&R Magnum. I like the round a lot, but ammo is hard to find and expensive. I have reloaded some ammo for it, but I it's just an extra handgun that I have. Too bad as it's a fun gun to shoot.
Okay, at the Marathon at 334 and I-65 about two weeks ago I had a similar guy say about the same thing (farmer going to the Purdue vet school). He was riding with two other guys in a POS Explorer. I noticed him eyeing me when I drove in, so I parked away from him and watched him. He walked near...
Ten to 7, how laughable is that. That'll stop that gun violence! Just something to anger the gun owners and make their dumb voters think they're doing something. Oh boy...
Awesome, and as well that you got your daughter involved. Good for you and thanks for sharing the pictures. I love .22s, and with ammo prices you can't go wrong with going through 1,000 rounds.
One of my favorite memories with my dad and .22s is when he threw in a large, slow flowing canel a...
I would never think to even put my finger on a trigger at any gun show, gun store, dealer, etc. If everyone knew better there wouldn't be anything to sabotage. "Let's pull the trigger and see what happens!" :(
It was. I lived in Fort Collins at the time. No one knew locally if it was going to be a big deal or not? The evening before I went to Old Town and there were college guys selling t-shirts and a lot of people were arriving from out of town. I had a lot of nice conversations with good people, a...
I'll sign it! I moved to Indiana before DST, and enjoyed it! I hate driving to work (or coming home) and fighting the sun, to only do again a few weeks later.
I will say that I worked for a company that had their headquarters in Indiana, and it was a common problem with dealing with the rest of...
Good thread idea.
On many, many occasions, I run into co-workers who think owning a gun makes someone a nutcase. But recently a vendor (female) was talking about getting a gun and I sent her the name of a NRA instructor to take his safety and personal protection courses. I haven't asked her if...
The main reason I have a permit is to carry in the vehicle. I ran into a situation where I was unarmed (back in the day before permits) while traveling through "BFE" and to this day I regret that my firearm was unloaded and locked in the truck to be legal (and to be a victim). No, I didn't end...
Although I like that idea, I think they get off easy to get shot and killed or to commit suicide. Of course either way, die then or in 50 years later, I suspect they'll burn in hell. (IMHO)
My brother just sent me this picture from a Colorado gun store. He wrote, "These are the stacks of guns already bought waiting for background checks - there were 3 more walls of guns like this - 9 days for a background check."
