      Bushmaster C15 ORC [Dial-up Beware]

Specs on it say 5.5 lbs, it sure feels lighter than other AR's I have fired and a whole lot lighter than a Sig-556.

      Bushmaster C15 ORC [Dial-up Beware]

The rail is screwed in and as best as I can tell they did not cut in M4 feed ramps. I may be wrong, but I don't think any of the Bushmasters use the M4 feed ramp style :dunno:

I have not been to Wilbur Wright in a while, did you take your own steal targets or do they have some set up now?

      Bushmaster C15 ORC [Dial-up Beware]

Will do. I plan on zeroing it in on some cheap stuff at 50 yards then seeing if the 1:9 barrel can stabilize the 75 grain Hornady TAP rounds at 100 yards. If it can I will post up the groupings and let you know how it handles. If it can't stabalize the 75 grain bullets then I will have to go...

      Bushmaster C15 ORC [Dial-up Beware]

Thanks for the encouragement to go for it. So far I think it was a great choice for the money

Great Experience for a new customer

Sorry, I set up another thread to talk about the rifle more specifically. Just wanted to say thanks to Bradis in this one  https://www.indianagunowners.com/forums/long_guns/95480-bushmaster_c15_orc_dial-up_beware.html

      Bushmaster C15 ORC [Dial-up Beware]

I just picked this up at Bradis and got what I think was a very good deal for the rifle plus a Bushnell TRS-25 red dot scope. I got the scope mounted and checked everything over, still have to tear it down for it's first cleaning tonight then hopefully will get to the range tomorrow. I have...

Great Experience for a new customer

Just wanted to say thanks again to the nice people down at Bradis for helping me with my Bushmaster AR-15 purchase today. They even put up with my 2 year old who was not acting like his normal easy going self. I got what I feel was a great deal, was treated very well, and will definitely be...

      Bushmaster Carbon 15

Thank you again for the reply. I will most likely come down this weekend and do as you suggested and simply sell off one of the red dots. Thanks again and hope to see you all soon :) (PatriotPride, thanks for the PM, I really apeciate it. I tried to reply but don't have enough posts yet to...

      Bushmaster Carbon 15

Thanks for the quick reply. I already have a good red dot, is there a similarly awesome deal sans the scope?

Is this deal still going on? Do you still have them in stock?

WTB 1911 - best bang for the buck?

Hard to go wrong with Kimber, Springfield, or Colt. Also take a look at Para-Ordnace as they offer double stack versions. Sig and Wilson Combat make nice ones as well, but they may be a little pricey.

Pump vs. Semi-Auto Shotgun for Defensive Purposes

Failures in a modern well made semi-auto are rare to the extreme. Some early versions of semi-auto shotguns did fail, often, and it made a lot of people "gun shy" to ever take another look at one.

Revolutionary design change to 1911 pistols from Detonics

I agree, I can not see any advantage of this design over a properly functioning 1911. Maybe it helps for long range target practice, maybe not?

.22 Conversion Kit for 1911 by Kimber

I did not see if they make one from Ultra Carry II. It looks easy enough to change at the range and it would be nice to be able to fire a couple hundred rounds of .22 for fun and then switch over to .45 acp for actual practice. EDIT: Looks like it is a 5 inch barrel so that would definitely...

      Kel-Tec RFB

Hi all. My first post, just found this place and like what I see. So about the guns, has anyone here in Indiana seen or handled one of the RFB's? What did you think? Where did you see it? Any shops around here have one to sell?
