Wonder if that would be covered under part (1). I guess the Prosecutor could argue that it's too front heavy to fire with one hand. Safer to have the barrel shortened to make the OAL < 26".
Slightly different tack here, but could you take a 23" 45-70 T/C G2 rifle barrel and mount it on a handgun frame? That would give you the full burn barrel length on a pistol. You'd likely need a rest or bipod though. Legal/technical issues?
My wife figured it out on whichever date it was that I showed her around my apartment. During the grand tour she couldn't help but notice the twin gun safes in the bedroom.
Not being familiar with this company, my first thought was, "Wait, Gander Mountain opened a tactical shop?"
My second thought was, "Wait, aren't we talking about companies that aren't unreasonably expensive?"
It's my understanding that these have to be built on a virgin "non-shotgun" receiver from birth. That way, they're an AOW, not a converted shotgun. (Feel free to correct me if I'm mis-informed, though)
I've had a Serbu on my radar for years, what does the KEG12 run pricewise out of curiosity?
1. WalMart
2.???
3. Target: whatever is cheap. Protection: Hollow points, you'll get as many opinions on what's good as there are different brands. Just make sure that if you get a semi-auto you shoot a box or two through your gun to make sure it's a good match (reliable feed, fire, extract...
All lines have their lemons and this sounds like this is a design problem with the PF9. Seems unfair to demonize the whole Keltec line because of it. Like saying your F150 is going to explode in a rear end collision because the Pintos did.

Care to point me to a store in the Indy/Noblesville area that has those deals?
No, I just shoot .22 the most, so I have what I consider to be a reasonable stockpile in that caliber. Also have anywhere between 500-2000 rounds each of a few other "serious" calibers. A few other calibers with...
If you aren't set on new, just check the used rack. I love old tube fed bolt .22s. I have a JC Higgins I picked up used years ago for $60 that I'll never let go.
