The wife and I just picked 50 lbs. of strawberries today, will be processing into jam, daquiri mix, and freezing some whole for shortcake through the year.
Strawberries are easy to process, and is a great intro to canning and preserving your own food. Nothing better than home made strawberry jam.:D
I actually laughed at the guy towards the front when he told me what the bricks of aguila were going for.
Picked up 1lb of varget (the only one I saw at the show), a brick of cci small pistol and a brick of cci small rifle. I over paid a little, but I needed them. Gun prices were ok, ammo was...
If I was starting over, I would look into the latest and greatest, wet tumbling with stainless steel media. It really is overkill at the end of the day, but if you want the prettiest bras at the range, then that is the way to go.
I use a vibratory tumbler with walnut, then run em through corn...
I'll be honest, I have no idea. I have been told from numerous sources that you should work up new lot #'s. I am about half way through my first 8 pounder, my second is a different lot. You bet you bottom dollar I'm gonna chrono them to see if that is true or not.
When I started using WC844 I treated it the same as H335. Start low and work your loads up like a normal new load.
Please note, There are variances from lot to lot, so whenever you open a new jug with a different lot number, do it all again.
Wildcat valley has a lot of competitions. Here is a link to them. If it is listed on their club calender, then it is open to the public. They do 3 gun, IDPA, USPSA,etc.

Here of late, I find myself enjoying the reloading almost as much as shooting it. Some of my friends wonder why all of my reloads gleam like the sun, they see it as a waste of time to get them that shiny. They are on the "don't get it" side of that particular fence. LOL!
My wife gave me crap...
Tried out some test loads on a new rifle this weekend, thought I would share and maybe get some insights from you all.
The rifle is a Rock River National match upper, 20 inch stainless barrel with a 1 in 8 twist.
We worked up 3 test loads to get us started, 15 rounds to each load.

Wildcat valley rifle and pistol club in Brookston,IN is having a multigun match this Sunday the 26th, starts at 11 am. Would be a great way to go check out a match and gear.
Thanks for the input everyone I really appreciate it.
I have access to some 69's and 75's, I think I will try working up some loads with them and see how things go.
This will be my first go-round at shooting with irons, I know there is a lot of learning curve to get through, but this just...
Ok,so I am hooked on trying out high power this summer. I even went so far as to talk my brother in law into letting me use his rock river national match rifle. Of course, he gets to use my .308 AR while I have his, but hey, I now have a rifle to shoot for this stuff.
I am not sure what to...
The stock sight on a Taurus PT1911 are Heine straight 8 sights. My memory vaguely remembers that they do make a standard set. It has been a couple years since I looked into it. I love mt PT1911, but would love to swap them out like yourself.
I am trying to remember where I read that, I think it...
Whenever I got to the 1500, I pick up a package of playing card targets. They are double sided, and have 6 deck variations to them. Sometimes we shoot face down, at long range we shoot face up so you can aim for your hand.
Best of all is they are normal target paper, so range nazis dont get all...
Hey rhino, go check out sksboards, there is a guy over there that does trigger jobs. He might have one for sale. btw, he does great work, he did two of them for me and it was a vast improvement.
