The string touching your nose is nothing but an extra reference point! With the shorter ATA bows it's almost imposable! Just make sure your draw length is correct and your anchor point and form are consistent and you should be fine!
I get to go to Tennessee for a weekend of turkey hunting this year! Hopping to get one with my bow this year for the first time. I wish season would open a little earlier around here. The birds are almost done strutting around here when season opens.
629 Classic .44 Mag with 1.25X 4 scope. Don't know how good I'd do at 200 yards but I've hit 4 out of 6 clay pigeons sitting on the backstop at about 125 yards! For the auto it would have to be my Springfield Champion .45ACP. I hit 2 of 7 on the pigeon with it at the same distance!
I had a Ruger .44 for several years! Lots of fun to shoot too! I did use it for late season squirrel hunting when their on the ground(hard to hit but good practice) and fox and coyote hunting. You want to be sure and put bore butter or something over the end of the cylinder prevent the chain fires.
I think that is only for secured areas of the vehicle like a trunk or toolbox. I think the inside of the cab is far game with suspicion! But I'm not 100% sure!
