Set-up begins Friday, June 26 around 1.30pm. We work until it is finished, then we fill out waivers for Glock, get shirts and hats and shoot the breeze for a while. And calibrate the plate racks :D

Saturday & Sunday start time for volunteers is 7.30am. Shooters start coming in about 8am.

GLOCK wants a cold range for this event, so, yes, we can open carry, just no mag and slide locked back. If that's a deal breaker, then I don't need you there to begin with.

Can't wait. Should be fun to help out!

I emailed you about this a while back, but just confirming that I plan on helping all day Saturday and Sunday. Even gonna be able to crash at a friend's place in Indy so I don't have to drive back and forth to Terre Haute Saturday night/Sunday morning.

I'm set for all three days.

I'll pay for working later, it's my wifes birthday weekend.

But honey, I was doing it for you! If I had won the Glock, it would've been yours!

    Eh?

co-worker is thinking about shooting this GSSF match.

Is it too late to sign up or can he register there?
Can he shoot either Saturday or Sunday?
How does the range look, chance it will get flooded out?

I have no idea since I've never shot one before, even though I'm a GSSF member.

    Either

Always a chance. Last forecast I saw, no rain for the match.

Not really. She doesn't mind me owning, or having weapons and I hunt a lot and have. I've been in the Military since I met and married her, but she doesn't want to shoot with me.

It's nice to meet people that you chat with all day on a computer.

We are going to start set-up around 1.30pm Friday.

Saturday & Sunday morning, we start at 7.30am.

I suggest you bring a cooler with water or your favorite non alcoholic beverage and/or lunch. Sunblock is good, too. Hat. Eye and ear pro is mandatory. The surface of the range is like being at the beach (just no bikini's), it's really fine gravel, so the sun bounces. Glock usually has awnings for us to cover the firing lines.

There will be a grill meister there doing chicken, brats, etc. There will really not be a charge for this stuff, but if you partake, man up and make a donation.

Really looking forward to this. Except for the 50th b-day Sunday... :n00b:
