Of course, you can conduct yourself with him in whatever manner you see fit so as to maximize your mutual enjoyment. Fo shizzle.
My wife has decided we need to raise our one step down sunken living room to the same level as the adjacent kitchen floor. When I do this the electrical outlets will obviously be much closer to the new floor albeit fully functional. Is there any state building code that requires the outlets be a certain distance above the floor ?
Cosmetically it might look a little odd to an astute observer but I suspect most people won't even notice. Will I be okay just building the sub floor frame work and covering it with mdf followed by new hardwood flooring ?
Thanks in advance
Over ELECTRICAL OUTLET questions......
I blame JollyMon...
I agree. That's why I reported JollyMon.
Shocking!
Good call. You really should just give him a temp ban.
IKR?! It's clear that somebody needs a constructive outlet.

We must give credit where credit is due. VUPD, no hoopla, no fanfare, one shot one kill.
There are both positives and negatives to moving an outlet. I try to remain neutral on these issues. And maintain my well-grounded sensibility.
I'm trying to organize a parade for him.
... language of that magnitude will get you a one way ticket to ban-ville
