I think one point is to make sure the correct history is out there so that our future generations will hopefully know better than to allow another Alinskyite into the highest office in the land. To make certain the general population, that may still believe we have a fair and objective press, are aware that they are actually little more than a propaganda arm of the big statist progressives.

You're more optimistic than I am. I'm completely dejected on all of this. I don't think any of them will learn, or attribute any of the future disasters as a result of his actions to him or his party.

There are those that are uninformed - Simply don't care
There are those that are low-informed - Simply believe what MSNBC tells them
There are those that are for the "change" - Want his big-picture to succeed... Marxism.
    There are those that were raised by public schools - Believe D = Good/Pure/Correct, R = Bad/Racist/Sexist/Rich/Greedy

I don't see these people changing their minds in the near or far future. They have the schools, they have the media/entertainment industry for the most part. If people don't want to change where they get their information... they won't. They will breed, and they will teach their children what they know to be their truth.

Bleh... I dunno. I hate how things are... and I just can't see a way out of it with the current state of things. Especially the media. It needs to be destroyed in every way. It's the biggest enemy, and as long as it exists in it's current state, things will only go downhill.

But, that's just my pessimistic view.

America has a self-respect problem. Too many people have none, and don't want to genuinely better themselves. We're becoming a nation of, pardon my French, pussies. Teaching our kids that everything is terrifying.

I am not sure how we do that, but it somehow must be done. In 2008, just days before the election, two prominent journalists -- Tom Brokaw and Charlie Rose -- inadvertently admitted that they had not done their job in vetting Obama. I know this is old history, but it is telling that they admitted to being so caught up in the hype that the nation was on the verge of electing a man they knew nothing about.

As long as the media/entertainment industry controls the message I see little that can be done to turn things around.

Unfortunately, the message is becoming more and more violent. Sometimes even directly by people in the media. His followers tend to think wishing death/violence on dissenters is an OK thing to do now, as well.

That's growing, and eventually it's going to come to a head. I don't think it's a coincidence that many of our recent decade's killings have been by lefties that snapped.

I have noticed that as well, and find it very disturbing. And looking at how combat-armed police suspended people's rights after the Boston bombing to look for one man, and it did not seem to bother anyone in the media makes me even more concerned about what the government reaction will be when things go bad.

And nothing will happen and all you'll end up looking like is the fool you're being. Nothing will come out, because he's more American then you are. He respects our election process, you just call whatever President you don't like a non-American because that's what a few nutcases said. Perchance, are you from Arizona? I bet you could get on a certain, corrupt Sheriff's "police" force.

I dunno if you remember many details of the 2k election as you may have been too young to have had much political awareness back then. But the "sore losers" then raised every petty excuse they could possibly render why GWB shouldn't be president, reaching under every rock searching every crevasse for SOMETHING, nay ANYTHING, that would rid them of this--eeeewwww--conservative, and give them their precious moonbeam.

Now I'm not saying that GWB was a good president, given the wars, the liberty encroachments, furthering the welfare state, etc. And I'm certainly not saying that Al Gore the Environmental Whore should have been president. But W was, hanging chads notwithstanding, the duly elected, SCOTUS sanctified, POTUS.

But nevertheless, oohwee, the *****ing and moaning, pissing and groaning from all the Gore Whores aptly demonstrated their inability to juuuusssst moooove ooonnn.

Surely if you'd have been as politically savvy as you are now, you'd be calling them foolish, butthurt, nutcases. Eh, on second thought, probably not.

With all that, they still only won by 5% of the popular vote. They can own the media, control curriculum in schools, the courts, corporations, etc., have the advantage of the WH for campaigning, a massive campaign ground game, and they still only won by 5% against a weak corporate 1%er.

If Republicans would have put up a better candidate, BHO's transcripts would be on no one's mind.

You mean the recount? Yeah, by at least Bush's second term it was old news. We're half way through Obama's 2nd term and there are still sore losers on this forum, alone, who can't give up the fact that Obama won the election. They're STILL trying to say or insinuating he's not the President.

They did moooovvveeee oonnnnn, unlike some of you. And I did call them idiots and foolish after the first year or so.

Surely even you can recognize sore losers who are STILL calling Obama illegitimate after nearly 5 years of constant "investigations" by the best of the ring-wing tinfoilers and Donald Trump.

BS, I saw Democrats mentioning that crap two days ago in the YouGov forums. Hell the Democrats, including the president that thinks he is a king is still blaming bush FIVE years later. I see Democrat pundits blaming Bush still for everything.

C'mon man, at most you were still poppin' zits then. Me? Imma old guy. I was there and fully aware. I remember the the dingbats and moonbeams STILL whining 4 years after, even 8 years after.

But that's not even the point. The point is, and you know it, you're playing games. It's okay with you when your side does the same things you accuse the other side of dong.

"A rose by any other name still smells as sweet".
At the other end of that adage- Calling a pile of dog crap a rose does NOT make it smell good.

You may not want to admit he's a socialist. Still, calling him a patriot does not make him one.

Actions speak louder than words, and his actions thus far have been loud and clear.

There are so many things wrong with the story of that "student ID". The first being that the school didn't use that kind of card at that time. The second, the picture isn't from his Columbia days (closer to his Harvard Law days). Third, the student ID number was issued to some white kid in 1998.
    Big surprise there.
