So I left a little early (around 7:45). I was there since 8am with my fiancé. She was quite the trooper and wingman!
Twas a merry experience! Wasn't able to score what I wanted for the $ I was willing to shell out, but it was still fascinating.
The crowd seemed to be mainly 40yrso+
My fiancé and I are 24 and people our age were quite scarce. Hopefully when my career really kicks off and I have some more $ set aside, another great auction will surface! I'll be ready!

One thing I did notice... people were spending way way too much on ammo. I saw 1000rds of brass 7.62x39 go for $780!

That was a good education on the madness that an auction can foster. Unless there is a rare bird you cannot find elsewhere, this is no place to spend your money.

John. Were you wearing a black INGO shirt and a Camo Hoodie?
I agree. I honestly find 75% of my deals on Armslist and the other 25% on here and Gun broker.

I saw that someone posted the IndyStar article. I'll leave this little gem here.

An auction worker holds up a Romarm AK-47 semi-automatic weapon during a gun auction at Earl's Auction Co., 5199 Lafayette Road, Indianapolis, on Dec. 1, 2013. The gun sold for $1,850

The one that caught my attention said "The man in the red shirt picks up the black semi-automatic rifle from the table behind him and holds it out for the anxious crowd to see" and was his holding up a lever action rifle. :n00b:
