    Interesting position. IMO, given another four years, Obama would totally convert us to a socialist peoples republik, then he could either choose to be president for life, or have a well groomed socialist successor follow him.

    Anyone else in the running, though not perfect, would be infinitely better than Obama.

    We're going to have to disagree here. Gingrich, Perry, Bachmann, & Santorum scare the :poop: out of me. Romney is the same as Obama, as far as I'm concerned.

    Also, think SCOTUS when you are in the voting booth, it will come up.

    This is an excellent point that's oft-forgotten. In 2012, however, I don't see much difference between the likely appointments of the Neocons who disregard my freedom or the incumbent who disregards my freedom. :twocents:

    I wonder If Newt was a democrat how many republicans would cross party lines and vote for him? Same policies, just with a "D" next to his name. For that matter, how many democrats would be singing the praises of the Newt. I would vote whig if ron paul was running.
