I went to a local gun show yesterday and ended up trading for a S&W pre model 15. Well I had to come home after that and put some rounds through it. Whoever owned it before me had the sights way off, but after some fine-tuning, I got it dialed in just where I want it.

This is 30 rounds of of 38 special using a Berry's 125 gr. plated bullet with 3.4 gr. of Bullseye. It's a nice light target load, but it's very accurate from 25 feet. . .except for two nasty little fliers I can't explain.

No loading for me anytime soon...

But I did get to shoot a MK48 for the first time the other day... and a SCAR 17 too... :rockwoot: among other weapons...

I'm hoping for a MK44 shoot in the near future.

    I could spit into Michigan
I loaded about 125 9mm rounds, 115 gr. plated bullets over 4 gr. of Titegroup. Rather pedestrian plinking rounds, but I want to finish up my plinking loads so I can get going on my 124 gr. hollow points.

Cleaned, resized and trimmed 200 mil-surp '06 cases; 150 from LC and 50 from a head stamp I had not seen before. PS 75. Turns out it's from the Pu San armory in South Korea, and I "think" it was made in 1975. These were the last of a 60lb bag of range brass I was given some years ago. I had already sorted out all the obvious stuff, cleaning and bagging everything useful. I had hung onto 96 pieces of PRVI Partizan 6.5x55 brass for all this time, even though I don't own such a rifle. Well, turns out a good buddy of mine just had a gorgeous one built and he'll be getting some free, very clean cases as a welcome-home gift for that rifle.

There is something very rewarding about reconditioning brass for its next loading, even if that might be years in the future. As a nation and a planet, we've got to stop throwing our kids' future away...and since 3 of my 4 kids shoot, that means reusing the brass when we can. :)

Loaded up 50 rounds of 44/40 with a mild charge of Unique and 200gr XTP bullets. These are the "fun" rounds that my kids like to shoot from the "cowboy" gun. :)

Loaded up 150 rounds of 9mm bunny-fart loads for the next FNS.

Tested 20 rounds of the load beforehand, and they all cycled the slide on my G17, although ejection was on the weak side. So I figured I would load some up. I guess I'll find out for sure at the next match. Might bring some hotter stuff too, just in case. :)

Are you shooting at BOR? Trying to be "stealthy" about it. ;)

Nothing stealthy about me, I'm loud and proud all the time. Yes I shoot at BORCC it’s a great program. I should be shooting the match this Sunday at 9am too. FYI The reloads did way better than I did. I shot a Mozambique modified El Presidente in 11 seconds with 15 A's, 2 B's, 1 mike (I hit the paper just didn’t break the line). For you non IPSC guys that’s 18 shots with a reload. Starting with your back to the targets in the surrender position turn then draw put two in the body one in the head of all three targets, reload and do it again. I didn't think that was too bad for an old guy, my best time was 13 seconds and nowhere near as good of hits with factory ammo.

I had a bad case of cabin fever today so I fired up the casting pot and poured about 10 Lbs. of these and loaded 100 more of the same.
