How much did hitlary raise for the veterans?

    "But Bush."

This thread is about Trump, and his virtues/shortcomings/successes/failures. There is absolutely nothing wrong with pointing out this Vet fundraising lie.

But now I'm curious... What has Hillary done for Vets? She has quite a long list on her website about it (and on INGO, a candidate's website is 100% fact). I'd like to see a fact-check on it. If true, might even outweigh the $6m lie.

From some of the pictures of that mob and their signs, you'd think he had crossed the boarder and was holding a rally in Mexico.

Look at their pre-fab signs: pslweb dot org (not linking them) and therednation dot org (not linking them either). They're a bunch of George Soros-funded astrotrufers.

That's not what the article says. It said some big name donors had backed out. $1.5M is a pretty big gap. And his honest is further called into question when he said he "didn't say" that they had raised $6M. He clearly said that. Hillary lies to cover her ***, Trump lies just to lie. Both are poison.

Donors reneging on pledges is not exactly an uncommon problem.

Neither is it uncommon (or dishonest) parlance, at the end of a telethon/fundraiser, to say that the event "raised" an amount of money, even though, at that point, only pledges of support totaling that amount of money have been received.

So, did Stanford lie when they claimed to have raised $25 million, yet only received $22.5 million?

I'll give you the possibility of reneging, but he did say that they raised $6M... what's the point of saying that you didn't, when you could just as easily, and have people understand, that some of the donors didn't follow through?

Yeah, isn't the issue more that he said he didn't say $6M?

The man doesn't know what he says and doesn't say. Except when he does.

It appears that the issue is primarily one of people trying to lay semantic mines, after first (at least implicitly) accusing Trump of fraud regarding the fundraiser. In other words: it is yet more grasping at straws.

On a related note... This is essentially his campaign. I believe this is how the "Ryan Endorsement" lie went, as well.

And I'm not sure about anyone else in here, but these violent anti-Trump protests just make me want to vote for him more. I don't see this kind of violence and rioting coming from Republicans protesting HRC/Sanders events. Almost makes me feel like a vote for Trump is a vote against these angry left wing mobs.

My thoughts exactly. Adding fuel to a fire IMO.

I doubt you're one of those. If you're not one of the fiercely loyal supporters who never admit when Trump's in the wrong and defend every action and word as if there is nothing he could do that would be beyond your ability to overlook, you're not part of the cult. I think most Trump supporters are sane. Then there's that guy. Like the one in that video w/Ted Cruz. That dude's ready to take the koolaid intravenously.

How much did hitlary raise for the veterans?

Probably the same amount of money Donald Trump raised for veterans prior to declaring his intention to run for president. I don't give people credit for doing something "good," simply because it furthers their personal interests.

With hitlary is doesn't really matter because they don't get the opportunity to become veterans........ Cutting overhead and all of that.

One of the more interesting things about this shooting, is the absence of conservative groups calling this act an "attack on Christians." It would seem, based solely on the fact that this was a church, that it would be something that concerns them.

Kut is like quality cream cheese...He can afford to spread himself a little thin...:)

And for the record Kut I am a conservative and I condemn a shooting at a Church...No matter whether a church, synagogue, mosque, or whatever...

If you could just direct me to the thread I will condemn the shooting....
