"The previous day, a detachment of the U.S. 7th Cavalry Regiment commanded by Major Samuel M. Whitside intercepted Spotted Elk's band of Miniconjou Lakota and 38 Hunkpapa Lakota near Porcupine Butte and escorted them 5 miles (8.0 km) westward to Wounded Knee Creek, where they made camp. The remainder of the 7th Cavalry Regiment, led by Colonel James W. Forsyth, arrived and surrounded the encampment. The regiment was supported by a battery of four Hotchkiss mountain guns.

On the morning of December 29, the troops went into the camp to disarm the Lakota. One version of events claims that during the process of disarming the Lakota, a deaf tribesman named Black Coyote was reluctant to give up his rifle, claiming he had paid a lot for it. A scuffle over the rifle escalated, and a shot was fired which resulted in the 7th Cavalry opening fire indiscriminately from all sides, killing men, women, and children, as well as some of their fellow soldiers. The Lakota warriors who still had weapons began shooting back at the attacking soldiers, who quickly suppressed the Lakota fire. The surviving Lakota fled, but cavalrymen pursued and killed many who were unarmed."

A battle, really? Since you knew about the MoH-fest I thought Kut (was more of a student of history)

Somebody want to help Bug out?

No, it was not a battle. It was a massacre of mostly women and children, while the men were complying with being disarmed, well *after* the battle that took place previously.

And Chip..... Has purple changed it's meaning?

Kut (has read "Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee.")

If too many more retards come out and try to get my guns banned because an Islamic terrorist killed some people in Orlando...
And if too many more news outlets continue to censor the truth about such attacks, and continue to favor the anti-gun angle...

I might feel forced to vote for someone I loathe, because it might be better than what Clinton has planned.

It is heartening to know that your redpilling is proceeding apace

Just a reminder of what any other vote than one for Trump will result in:

    [generic HRC video]

I've asked a few times, and still don't think anyone has explained it to me, but how can this be true in Indiana? Seriously, by what rationale - for an Indiana voter - is a non-vote for Trump a vote for HRC?

    It's not...

I support Trump (now) and the only thing I can come up with is Trump supporters read these threads and see things like we're Nazis, Racists, Islamaphobes, not very bright, sheep, etc.....And then in what can only be described as a lapse of sanity we respond by saying "Oh yeah!!! Well if you don't vote for Trump you are throwing away your vote and might as well be voting for Hillary..."

It makes both sides look a little petty....Almost Obama like in our pettiness...

Many of my INGO friends will not support Trump and I can not nor will I hold that against them...If Trump loses their vote it's on Trump and not them...

    IMHO...

Trump is or is not for due process?

Donald Trump pledges to meet with NRA to push Democrat gun control measure

Shannon Watts is currently on CNN praising Trump for these comments.

Another moderately vague statement from the Don in order to see which way the wind is blowing. He'll either claim that he never supported this measure and everyone misinterpreted him, or come out with more clarity in favor of it.

Since we have no central beliefs to use to predict where he'll land, we just have wait until his moistened finger determines which way the wind is blowing.

Everything is negotiable. He's said so. As you say, he has no central beliefs...unless you count "making the deal" as a central belief.

This post sums up nicely why I respect. I tried to rep, but couldn't.
