Not much in here about DeSantis just being the better candidate.

Seems to be a lot about Trump, from one or two folks claiming not to have TDS.

Folks telling us we are all on the same side, as long as we all hate Trump like them.

I feel DeSantis is the better candidate, and also feel like a lot of people would support him. If Trumpers supported him, he could maybe win. He is proven to stand up to doubters/media, he's well spoken, and doesn't have the negative stigma around him.

Speaking of the primary. Was just late to the party. I gladly voted for Trump in the main election and didn't hold my nose either.

I don't really have "a guy" . I would support DeSantis, or Paul, or Cruz...maybe anyone. But I don't think Trump wins again based off the last 6 years. I do believe he deserves several insults, but I take back any insults directed towards his supporters- we are ultimately on the same team.

To get back on topic. I wonder if it's a bit of jealousy. Desantis is getting attention from the people Trump is/was getting attention from. Kinda like you have a dog and get a new one. Even if you give the dog you had as much or more attention than you did before you got a new one, they will still get jealous of the new one for any attention you give it.

I had a boss that would often say "Would you like some cheese to go with that wine?"

Also, you were fulminating about how Trump increased the debt during his term, so I thought you had a candidate in mind who had a plan to do something different. But no, just whingeing
