It appears William Brewer, head of the lawfirm the NRA recently paid $24 million to for legal representation (some of which was recovered), is a major democratic donor. He maxed out to Beto in 2018 and gave $1,500 to Hillary Clinton in 2016.

I guess we will have to wait and see if the big money dries up. If it doesn’t then Wayne and the gang can probably weather this. I can remember some of the recent votes to make it impossible for a group of gun grabbers to come in and take over the organization, unfortunately it also protects the top from its members.
