.@realDonaldTrump makes death threats because he's a pathetic coward who can’t handle the fact that he’s losing to a girl.

So now the Cherokee are weighing in on it as well?????? Interesting.....They possibly see Trump as a threat to their stranglehold on legal gambling in east Tennessee/west North Carolina.....This could be a game changer.....

Apparently having Trump in office would not be conducive to the agenda(s) of Fauxcahontas's owners.

I actually draw a distinction between the business guys in Russia and the political ones. I witnessed first hand the efforts to monetize contacts with Russia after the wall came down. There was real money to be made, and it only made sense to seek it out. In that process, you get to know people. If those people survive the various ups and downs of business/political life in Russia, then you do really well over the long haul. This Lorber guy sounds more like that.

It isn't about the politics, it is about the money. The politics is just part of the game.

Guys like Manafort are the ones that I'm REALLY suspicious about. Those are the guys for whom the politics WAS the game.

"Manafort was an adviser to the presidential campaigns of Republicans Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, Bob Dole, and is currently the national chairman of the presidential campaign of Donald Trump, as well as being a senior partner in the firm Davis, Manafort, and Freedman. Manafort is also known for his successful lobbying efforts on behalf of political leaders like Jonas Savimbi and Viktor Yanukovych and foreign dictators such as Ferdinand Marcos and Mobutu Sese Seko."

Manafort made a very good living making party apparatchiks and obscure dictators and strong men look ... less bad. It was marketing. :) You know, the sort of thing State and CIA used to do before it was privatized

The Russian ties thing is a red herring. And it's intentionally that. I think the media is helping Democrats create something where there's probably nothing.

And it's not that I don't want them to investigate Trump's dealings with Russia. Because it's only probably nothing. So sure, investigate. But it's not just a thing that's happening. It's happening for a political purpose. And, I'm okay with that as long as they're not working to deceive the public.

As much effort as they're putting into trying to build Trump into this Manchurian candidate, I'd like to see the press devote that kind of effort in trying to uncover what's hidden in Hillary's closet. Where are all the Woodward's and Bernstein's trying to make a name for themselves uncovering the mystery of Seth Rich?

IDK, trying not to be found dead? You know, shot twice in the back during a robbery in which nothing was taken

If by "us" you mean people who don't want him to be president, then you're right. Once you get past those who don't want Trump, there will be very few left. Sadly, I think most of them are on INGO.

How much nutty crap does he need to spout before enough people realize that he is unqualified and would be an unmitigated disaster?[ "My fellow Americans, I'm pleased to tell you today that I've signed legislation that will outlaw Russia forever. We begin bombing in five minutes." ] How low-information does someone need to be in order to fail to realize that he is desperately pandering to fear, hatred, and prejudice?

His latest statement did far more harm than good for our political process. Had you or I said the same thing, the authorities would be talking with us right now (a former CIA director has stated exactly that). And I'll guarantee you that someone out there heard the dog whistle and is thinking "I need to shoot Hillary". Do any of you REALLY want that to happen?

Yep, gotta watch those nutty ones

I know many Trump supporters...They are very politically astute....A couple of them are attorneys, a couple are Doctors, a few are teachers...Some are union workers, some are waitresses, and one is an immigrant that runs the counter of a quickie mart...My wife is a Trump supporter...Many here on INGO have met her and she is far from "low information"....She is the daughter of immigrants from South America......Legal of course.....

I have never (and will never) call the anti Trump folks "low information voters", (which I can only assume is a polite way of calling someone "stupid" or maybe "Ignorant"???? If it's not it sure comes across that way...)

There is no need to disparage the intellect of those with which you disagree....I heard Trump's speech and I thought, "Good...Remind the Democrats what happened to them in 1994 when they went up against us 2nd amendment supporters...."

I can't fathom how anyone can not see it that way and yet here we are...I will not call you "low information" as you may be younger and not remember that time in history...The AWB cost the Democrats the House and in the following election cycle (IIRC) the Senate for the first time in 50 years......

So if one calls Trump supporters "low information voters" (which is an insult, and depending on the Trump supporter's ethnicity possibly even bigoted...) whom are they pandering too? Elites??? Bigots???? Globalists????? Whom???? Rosie O'Donnell????? Lady Ga Ga?????

I have no "fears." I have no "hatred" for anyone and I am not "prejudiced".....I have nothing against folks that follow the MSM dogma.... I get that every morning the MSM wakes us up with a NYC talking head breathlessly telling us "Trump is in hot water again for comments he made" and I can see how one can easily fall into the "Well the NYC and the DC Beltway folks, along with actresses, actors, and pop stars, are telling me Trump voters are low information, bigoted morons so it must be true" and fall in line with the rest of the flock.

Whether one votes for Johnson or just sits home with their vote it's their vote. Use yours as you wish but you should perhaps ease up on questioning the intellect of those with whom you disagree....It's just not polite....

IMHO and with no ill will...Zip...Nada....None......

You know, I try to be polite and really don't like insulting the intelligence of others. There's way too much of that on the internet in general and this forum in particular. And I don't take political advice from celebrities. As this campaign continues to unfold, I've tried really hard to not question the intelligence of people who favor Trump. But sadly, it has reached critical mass - every single time he opens his mouth, he says things that someone aspiring to be president should never say. Maybe he is joking, maybe what he says is carefully scripted for effect, maybe he has no filter - I don't know him personally, so I can't say for sure. Whenever I hear him speak, he talks only in vague generalities with no real plan, and his words appeal directly to fear, hatred, and prejudice. There is no other way to interpret the words which come from his mouth. I'll take your word that you aren't a scared or hateful person, but he is going to need the votes of a whole lot of scared and hateful people to put him over the top. I sincerely hope that as a society we are better than that.

Do I think that he really wants someone to shoot Hillary? Absolutely not. But I absolutely do expect better judgement from someone who aspires to the office, and he should understand that not everyone will interpret his words as he intends.

But at this point, after all of the things that Trump himself has said, anyone who still feels that he is fit to be president is either not thinking things through carefully, or they are letting their fear and prejudice cloud their judgement, or they are extremely low-information (which is a euphemism for stupid and/or ignorant; it's not intended to be an insult, just a factual observation with the hope that they will try to do better). And it doesn't matter if those people are doctors, lawyers, clergy, or what-have-you. I don't like saying it, but it's almost as if a large portion of the electorate has had a collective brain fart.

And yes, I'm old enough to remember 1994 and a lot further back beyond that.
