Again, he did not ask them to. He acknowledged they did and asked for them back...

Yes, you should absolutely be opposed to this. It doesn't matter if it benefits you or your candidate... It does not benefit your country to further demean itself to an opposing super-power.

Trump/Clinton is small potatoes, her e-mails are just e-mails. Yes, she's corrupt... but giving the OK for Russia to obtain information illegally from our government isn't something to be taken lightly.

Trump and Clinton are clowns. But they're our clowns.

Pence just said that Russia will face "serious consequences" if they're behind the DNC hack

The Clinton campaign has responded, stating that Trump is actively advocating for "espionage" against a political opponent.

Asking our INGO Trump haters and supporters to weigh in... what do you think of this? Just another "Trumpism" that he can't be blamed for? Or a serious mistake on his part to advocate something like that? I dont think I've ever heard a presidential candidate hope a foreign entity successfully hacks the US government.

A side bit from today's briefing, Trump camp says they would consider recognizing Crimea as part of Russia. Come on.

How the hell is this any worse than any of the other **** he's said. In a normal election people would care. It's not like this will make Trumpers think any less of him. They don't care. I imagine they'd care if Hillary had said this. But he gets to say what he wants, and I'm getting pretty used to it. I'm like just shrugging my shoulders at this point. Whatevs. It's not going to change anyone's mind for or against. So why should I care? Trump says **** and who even knows how serious he is?

    They've already hacked her server.

Hillary Clinton Suddenly Admitting Her Deleted Emails Contained All Sorts of Sensitive "National Security" Information

Indeed, Hillary's server was wiped (like with a cloth?) and then seized by the FBI, which has had it under air-gap (no internet connection) ultrasecurity for a year. The Dummies like pretending that the server is still serving there, ripe for the plucking. It's not. The FBI has given it the security it should have had all along. Unless the Dummies are claiming Trump is suggesting that Russia conduct a physical intrusion/burglary/armed robbery of the FBI's counter-terrorism offices, then it's physically impossible to read anything off Hillary's servers without being on a codeword-clearance list.

    As Mollie Hemingway put it:

It is entirely legitimate to read his words as saying he’d like Vladimir Putin to personally go out there and hack Hillary’s server, except that can’t be exactly what he’s saying, since that server is now not in a hackable situation. Sure, Hillary Clinton exposed national interests to such hacking for years upon years, but that’s not the real threat now. They either have them or they don’t. At this point, what difference does it make, amiright?

Trump supporters do understand that a US/Russia friendship is impossible, right? You do know what Russia is... it's history... etc?

Yes....We are not as ignorant as you seem to insinuate in one of every four posts here...I knew Trump was living rent free in Obama's head...It appears he may have gotten a lease with an option to buy in yours as well.....I admire someone who can become that obsessed with someone...Kudos....I hope you're okay when Trump is sworn in come January....

    Kaine, Kean, Khan.....
I think you're all missing the point that Trump doesn't care who his "opponent" is.

They are all so insignificant that they doesn't really matter. :dunno:

What difference at this point do they make?

Well, Trump just asked Russia to spy on his rival, dig up classified U.S. government documents, and release them publicly.

I doubt the Democrats want to touch this too much... because if/when more e-mails are leaked... it'll be pretty clear that the deleted mail wasn't just "yoga and wedding" crap. Hillary already made a mistake by saying Russia doing such a thing would be a matter of national security... I thought those deleted e-mails were just personal nonsense?

This works for Trump because... here he is... the center of attention again, during the DNC. Most candidates lay back while opposing conventions occur.

Hopefully the Russians post the work of going through them on Amazon's mechanical turk website. I'd do it for $0.15 per file. ;)
