Actually, I'd argue you could blame Mike Pence for that. If he didn't try making something illegal that was already illegal, the court probably wouldn't have had a reason to make it completely legal here.

I heard it discussed on the radio yesterday that Pence was out talking up Trump's stimulus plan (though I can't find any links supporting that claim). But he's Trump's VP and has to tote those buckets for the PE, so I'm willing to give it the benefit of the doubt, for now. Remember when Pence was pretty vociferous about Obama's stimulus plan? Remember when the conservative talk shows were decrying it too?
