Right there with you buddy. I love the bull-in-a-China-shop concept of Trump or Sanders getting in.

A small part of me enjoys that prospect as well. Just to have the establishment dumbfounded. Trump who openly brags about buying politicians and Sanders who doesn't get 200,000 dollars a speech from Goldman Sachs.

From the linked story: "The Rubio campaign, which placed fifth in Tuesday’s New Hampshire primary, hopes to capitalize on Mr. Englander’s connections to Mr. Paul’s libertarian supporters, even though the two senators’ presidential efforts were based on very different ideas. Mr. Paul campaigned on a foreign policy highly skeptical of intervention abroad and government surveillance, while Mr. Rubio backs a far more robust American presence overseas and stresses his support for electronic government surveillance."

From what I heard from Carly, she was one of them I could have voted for without holding my nose.

She espoused some squishy positions when she ran for previous office in California. But at least she generally said conservative sounding things this campaign. Did she evolve? Maybe. She sounded good, really good on the pro-life stuff. It's too bad folks like her and Rand never really gained traction and folks like Jeb and Kasich have done better...well, a little better.

I have trouble believing Sanders would shake things up much. He might to a degree, but I think he'd mostly get gridlocked into a do-nothing presidency.

Trump on the other hand would make a media circus, the likes of which have never been seen before, if he was gridlocked. He's like a less political version of Maine's governor, Paul LePage.

If you don't know much about LePage, look him up. I've never seen someone slam democrats harder than he has, lol. Openly calling law makers in his state "Petulant children." He has them so pissed off they're desperately trying to impeach him.

    http://bangordailynews.com/2015/05/...t-democrats-for-delaying-vote-on-puc-nominee/ just an example.

LePage rips ?repugnant? Democrats for delaying vote on PUC nominee ? Politics ? Bangor Daily News ? BDN Maine just an example.

If America elected Sanders and Republicans ever lost both houses, I think Sanders could do some real damage. I watched his speech last night and this is a fellow with a very radically different idea of what America should be than our founding fathers ever had. There is no room for individualism in Bernie Sander's America.

While filling the Supreme Court with liberal socialist anti-gun judges that we could never in our lifetimes recover from.

You think he'd put in worse people than hillary?

I highly HIGHLY doubt that. And him merely being in office would assure the senate and house were dominated by republicans out of fears of socialism.
