I don't think we can understand your comparison. One involved the State shooting and killing some rioters. The other involves two groups of private individuals becoming involved in physical altercations.

Federal charges against these "protesters" sure aren't a perfect deterrent, but they beat the alternative.

    MOTHER ****ING HELL YES!!!

This is one of my favorite movie scenes of all time. OF ALL ****ING TIME!!!

The only thing better than dirty assed 60s hippies getting cracked on is communists being run over by tanks or strafed by A10s.

Here is the whole scene, for those without context.

The question attempts to get at whether people's opinion of violence related to politics, whether it is right or wrong, is related to whether they agree or disagree with the politics represented by the victims

I imagine the bubba effect will attract more supporters to Trump. This is a sad, and frankly, a scary situation. It's almost like you can see folks itching for a fight and the environments for conducive on both sides for them.

You know when the feds get involved whose side they'll be on. Which may strengthen Trump's hand even more.

The Left has been playing this game since Ferguson, but it seems to be backfiring on them now...

Just waiting for the first Trump supporter to shoot someone during this whole "Trump revolution". Same with the "Democratic spring" crap.

Guessing this is only going to get worse as we get closer to November.

Just waitin' for the Trumper spin.

    OK here ya' go.
Hitlary 38% Trump 36% Hitlary +2 MoE 4.38, a less biased reading would indicate a dead heat if inside the MoE

    Same poll
Sanders 48% Trump 37% Bernie +11 same MoE. So if I take this poll at face value I must conclude that almost half the electorate of Utah would vote socialist. Utah, for gods sake! If the conclusion doesn't make sense, I have to question the methodology.

In 2008 Utah voted Republican 62% to 34% Democrat, in 2012 it was 73% to 25% but I'm supposed to believe that 48% of that electorate (+/- 4%) will vote socialist because: Trump? :koolaid: Mmmmm. Trotsky flavored

That would be MAJOR news if that happened. If the democrat won Utah, then the republican shouldn't even bother leaving their home on Election Day for any reason. Democrat landslide of 1964 proportions.

The politics of that day aren't even close to today. But yes, it will be a Democratic landslide.

I don't care how anyone frames it, dude that's genocide. Killing people simply due to their beliefs and how they vote, without them ever raising arms against us first? Your post is one of the more troubling posts I've ever seen on INGO, and that's saying a lot.

I'm sorry, I don't believe in murdering people for being gay or stoning women to death for not being slaves. I guess I'm a mean old intolerant conservative.

Right, you just believe in murdering people who have the potential to believe differently than you do.

When their beliefs escalate to the point of murdering people for leaving the faith, murdering those they disagree with, and murdering those who won't subjugate themselves, YEP!

You said those who believe Sharia should be law, and those who would vote for it outside of their borders. So are you now saying/clarifying that they must commit atrocities first?
