    Got my ham steak on a rack in the baking pan with brown sugar and cinnamon on it, with a little bit of water and liquid smoke in the bottom of the pan. Just have to put it in the oven later.

    My favorite for ham steak is putting them in a really hot cast iron and just searing them a bit on both sides.
    I've done that before too, with a little butter and brown sugar. Gives it a nice carmelized glaze. I did it this way the last time though, and it came out really good. Super tender... like melt in your mouth tender. :drool:
