Life is not one sided as CKW and I have learned. We both live here so any decisions made effect us both. We discuss anything of importance and try to keep each other informed but even then things slip throiugh

If it were up to me, we (she and I and the boys) would just come home after the funeral and nobody would be coming over. But she hasn't seen her mom and dad for a long time since they've moved to Florida, so I can't begrudge her wanting to have her family over. In the grand scheme of things, it's a pretty minor irritation. I'm just bitchin'.

And you're right about things being pricey. Lowly chuck roast, "on sale" at Kroger was $5.99/lb.. Used to be able to get prime rib roast for that.

After trying to make the boys' beds, I've decided that we really need to get rid of about 90% of their toys. They've got more toys in there than some pre-schools, I swear.

I picked up my box of chicken. Took 20 lbs to the daughter in Elkhart (along with a couple other things I got while I was there), 10 to the son in Mishawaka. Ate at the Gyros King for lunch. Got my 10 put in freezer bags and in the freezer.

It's been an accumulation of every grandkid's stuff ever. Nothing ever goes home with the other ones, so it all ends up here.

We were in Shelton on the way to our destination. The rain they were getting was the reason we left earlier than planned. That is crazy.

someone at work in close proximity got Covid. So I can quarantine for 10 days, or get tested after 5, and come back on day 7. If I had a mask I could finish the day today, otherwise I'd have to go home.

So, I'm home and not going back for 10 days
