What a morning I've been having. Got a notification that my debit card had been compromised, so got that straightened out, but normally I could just go in my credit union and get a new card on the spot, but their system to do that has been down all week, so they're mailing me a new one, which will take 5-10 business days.

Went to the credit union and took out some cash to run on for awhile, but figured I also had my regular Visa, so no biggie, right? Went to buy smokes at the gas station with the Visa and it was declined! WTF?? Got home and called and they had put a hold on my card because I used it to put money on the Go Fund Me account for Susan's daughter.

Thing is, I had been getting calls and texts allegedly from their fraud department but when I looked up the number, it was listed as a known spam/phishing number so I ignored them. I let them know about that when I called just now. Everything is okay now, but damn! :faint:
One of the gas stations we stopped at in Washington on the way home, had something funky with their pump. I swiped my card and it declined. Went inside and it declined again. Called and they said it was fixed...swiped and declined. Called Capital One again and told them this was not acceptable as I had 2400 miles to go and really needed to be able to fill the gas tank. I wanted to use my card so we would get the cash back on all of the expenses.

I'm going to try and maintain my smaller portioning that I've been doing. Would love to drop some weight (and I really need to). I think my stomach shrunk a little bit. Tried to eat a can of Progresso soup yesterday and I couldn't finish it. Wish they came in smaller cans.
My stomach has shrank as well.

They did once they confirmed it was me. Hubby paid for that tank out of our cash and it worked fine at every stop after that. I was expecting the pumps to shut off at $100 but none of them did...just kept going until it was full. :lmfao:

40 gallon tank so we filled once a day other than a couple of days when we did 800 miles instead of the usual 600. Vroommmmmm
