I had to go to a funeral, but as funerals go, it was pretty cool

Cousin that passed away owned a small trucking company. They had the funeral in the warehouse of his business. His brother and a childhood friend who is a Pastor held the service. Talked abouty many of the crazy things he did before getting married (I witnessed several). It was very casual and upbeat. As the service ended, they passed out shots of whiskey and had a final toast to Tony. It was really neat.

It should be a celebration of the person's life...not a big sad crying fest. I think I'll make a lot of my special beverages made up for everyone to use as a toast!

Yep, boring, stuffy Funeral Home funerals are for old people. It should be a celebration of someones life and Tony's funeral was definitely that. I'm glad I went.

Apple pie and lemonade please, please....

We have a new favorite...cherry pie moonshine. I like the apple pie and the peach pie, but the cherry is the bomb! We wipes out a half gallon last night. I am going to have to buy some cherry juice and make up some more of that!
