My ADL wears Weaver aluminum bases and Burris Signature Zee rings.

Proly "upgrade" to a pic rail. Rifle shoots fine as is though.

FWIW always check rings/ bases for alignment before adding the scope. Sometimes stuff is made w error.

First set of bases I bought for this rifle were screwed up. 2nd set ( same brand ) was fine.

Mine have Nightforce and Seekins Precision bases on them. I like them both and they both have recoil lugs.

Whatever you choose, I would bed it to the action (not permanently). 700 Actions are notorious for being out of spec where the rear of the scope base mounts and bedding the rail will keep it straight... plus it's easy to do. At the very least, look at the fit closely before torquing down the screws to make sure there isn't a significant gap.

If you're good with a picatinny base, EGW is hard to beat. They make 0 MOA and 20 MOA bases. I've used them on Savage rifles and have been very pleased with them.

But will proly go w a Recknagel on my 700 whenever I decide my perfectly fine cheap Weaver bases are a problem LOL

Ran the alum Weaver bases on several 700s back in the day w Burris Zee rings.

The ADL combos come with lower end rings and bases from the factory, we have a few ADLs like that lol. They work just fine on those rifles.

I ran the Weaver base, Burris Zee ring combo on a half dozen 700's.
One combo pack of bases, recent manufacture at that time, was mis machined.
Others bought in old single packs, were fine.
Always check w alignment rod, before dropping scope in.

Stuff happens and my luck aint the best LOL

Only bad ring/base I've ever had, and Ive had a few.

Have seen bad stuff others got.

Picked a Rem 700 adl on clearance from RK. Looking for a moderately priced base to put on it. What have others had decent luck with that doesn't break the bank?
This is what I have to offer you.
A set of rings and bases off of a factory adl 700 in 7mm mag and if you need it a 3x9 scope that came with it.
If you are interested we can discuss the price.
