    Is it a manual or automatic? If its a manual, the switch on the clutch pedal can prevent voltage from getting to the starter. If its an automatic the switch for park can do the same thing.
    It's an auto, I already tried putting it in neutral, I'm almost certain it's the damn starter, the battery has been going strong playing the radio and charging my phone all this time.

    I'd still check for power at the starter while someone is turning the key before you go to the trouble of removing it.

    Any chance of jumping the solenoid? Or is that to new school of a car?

    I've seen loose cables at the battery or at the starter make it seem like the starter wasn't working. I wouldn't advise trying to jump anything but the battery. These newer cars won't let you do stuff like that.
