The butcher we went to when we were kids called it ass meat. He also called rocky mountain oysters by what they really were.

I've cut many of them out, not the best job in the world. I could feel for the poor bastards.

I can not even look at an oyster let alone put it in my mouth..........

While living in Thailand, I would frequently eat oysters. I was slightly concerned about where they sourced the oysters, but I never got sick. They serve them with kaffir lime, crispy shallots, and a spicy sauce.

Crawdads, yep! Could buy them things "off the boat" for $35 a hundred. That was some good eating.
