    Hey, that's not bad at all. You're talking about a guy who's favorite lunch was boat noodles. They are noodles and veggies in a spicy pork blood broth. It contains giant squares of congealed blood. Before serving they add another ladle of blood.

    Actually that looks pretty good.
    That picture shows a huge bowl. They are usually served in teacup sized bowls that cost around 30-40 cents each. As you eat more noodles, you stack the empty bowls on your table. The locals pride themselves on having the tallest stack. I could usually eat 5 or 6 servings.
