The east side is not a safe area. I'd say east side would be one of the worst areas of Indy, if not the worst. My wife has worked down there for 2 years. Thankfully she is starting a new position that will put her behind a desk and not in people's homes.:twocents:

Well there went that employment option. Back to the drawing board. I have a feeling that I won't be employed until next fall when the new school year starts.

I was about to suggest commuting. I don't like my wife working as a nurse in home health on the east side, but I would be ok with myself working on the east side. If that makes sense.

Whats the East side like? Is it a "diverse" area?

Areas east are very rough. South east not so much. NE is (in some areas) really rough.

Truth is, there are a lot of places inside 465 that will keep your head on a swivel. Remember the area you were detained at the gun by-back???

I look at the US Census data for every area in which I see a job opening. If I see numbers that I don't like, I do not apply. I'd rather hold out for a decent job than get stuck in the hood.
This is wise. Your work environment plays a big part in how much you enjoy your career.

I was recently informed by mbills that my post about the detention made it onto Reddit. :rockwoot:

    Reddit famous!

    Be honest, how much blood?

Hahahaha...well I started out shaving with the razor on 1. Went well, but the shave wasn't as close as I wanted (although still pretty darn good). Then I cranked it up to three. There were no major cuts after shaving with it on 3, but I'd say there were about 100 pin prick sized holes slowly oozing blood
