That's what we had to do at the last Meet & Shoot. Luckily the rain stopped after a little bit.

I was at the range this morning! It was a little warm but once we got a lane with a shelter we had a lot of fun!

She did great. This wasn't her first time shooting, she just isn't into it as a hobby like many of us are. She's certainly not afraid to send some lead. As I said before, she wanted to get familiar with our shotgun. Mainly because its usually one of the most accessible and most intimidating HD weapons we have. Its a Mossberg 500 with a pistol grip, adjustable stock, a 40mm red dot, and a tac-light. I wanted to show her that it wasn't necessary to shoulder it in order to hit a close range target. The water bottles we had did NOT survive.

We decided to go downtown and take a look at "Lady Victory" while they still had her on the ground. We likely won't get another chance to see her that close in our lifetimes. I never realized how big she was! That statue is 38 feet tall!
